What are Black Spot Rockland Bricks?

Black Spot Rockland Bricks are reclaimed historic bricks from Hudson Valley buildings, distinguished by natural black spots and weathered tones formed from oxidation, soot exposure, and age.

What makes these bricks unique compared to new bricks?

Unlike new standard bricks, these reclaimed Rockland bricks feature irregular black spotting, aged color variation, chips, cracks, and authentic historic character that can’t be replicated by modern manufacturing.

What are common applications for Black Spot Rockland Bricks?

They’re ideal for interior/exterior non‑structural walls, decorative accent walls, fireplaces, patios, pathways, and historic restoration projects.

What sizes and quantities are available?

Rockland Bricks are typically sold by unit, by pallet (504 bricks), and as sample packs. A pallet covers about 7 bricks per square foot of wall area.

Are these bricks sustainable and eco‑friendly?

Yes. Because they’re reclaimed from historic structures and prepared for reuse, they reduce waste and promote sustainable building practices.
